Where the personal & political meet
In this moment we find ourselves in
Feeling overwhelmed? In addition to the big feelings that come with the present times, there are practical questions to face. For example:
- Should you join Signal, and if so can you use your real name or should you adopt a pseudonym?
- If you’re organizing a little protest, should you promote it on social media?
- What happens if you’re filming action at the federal building and you unexpectedly get arrested?
- If you’re showing up at the federal building what should you bring (or not)?
These questions are too big to face alone. If you want to join a community discussion with others who are also trying to figure this stuff out, you are hereby invited to attend any or all of these sessions. Each gathering will include a mix of time in big and small group discussion, Q&A, and probably a resource expert on hand to provide a short overview of relevant information.
Every other Thursday 5-7:30pm at Trauma Healing Project
March 26, April 9, April 23, May 7, May 21, possibly more

What else?
The organizer needs help to make this series happen. If you can assist with set-up, making a flyer, or something else that you think might be useful, please get in touch. And if you’re willing to support with financial sponsorship, that would be awesome.
Note that attendees at these sessions are not being vetted/screened. Please keep that in mind when choosing what information to share while attending. No photos will be taken. The registration form is just to know how many people are attending (for room set-up, etc.)—using your real name is completely optional. If you list an email address, that enables the organizer to send you a feedback form afterward, and to send out updates & invitations to subsequent gatherings.
If you have questions email Kavana (see contact form on this website).
